Solís-Román is a statistician whose work bridges policy, product, and program evaluation. At MDRC, she leads quantitative research in K–12 education, including edtech, social-emotional learning, school support organizations, and postsecondary pathways. Her work has informed studies of programs including INSIGHTS into Children's Temperament, LifeSkills Training, and initiatives by the Gates and Kauffman Foundations, among others.
Before joining MDRC, she served as a Senior Data Science Researcher at Microsoft and Associate Research Scientist at NYU's Health Evaluation and Analytics Lab. Solís-Román holds a bachelor’s degree in public and international affairs from Princeton University and graduate degrees in applied statistics and public administration from NYU.
