Rubin is a research associate in MDRC’s Postsecondary Education policy area, where she designs, manages, and studies interventions to support college access, persistence, and completion. She serves as project manager and implementation lead for the REACT and Wallin Scholars Evaluation projects and provides implementation research and scaling support for Fast Track. Previously, Rubin served as project manager for Coreq Assess, a randomized controlled trial evaluating the impact of placement policies for corequisite and college-level courses on student achievement.

Before joining MDRC, she researched Washington, D.C.’s public schools at the D.C. Policy Center, served as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer with a social services agency in Columbus, Ohio, and supported organizing and community-based initiatives at the American Federation of Teachers. Rubin holds a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree in public policy studies from Vanderbilt University.
