Liam Tsao

Postsecondary Education
Tsao is a research assistant in the Postsecondary Education policy area. He currently provides operations support and technical assistance for the Expanding SUCCESS and Texas Multiple Measures Assessment projects. Before joining MDRC in 2023, he interned in the U.S. House of Representatives and chaired the Norman Topping Student Aid Fund—a student-funded and student-administered postsecondary scholarship program. Tsao grew up in Madison, Wisconsin, and holds a bachelor’s degree in history and social sciences from the University of Southern California.
