Azurdia is a senior research associate in the Economic Mobility, Housing, and Communities policy area, where her research is focused on evaluation testing regarding housing, education, and employment-related interventions for low-income workers, welfare recipients, residents of subsidized housing, and other disadvantaged groups. Azurdia has directed several projects, including the Career Impact Bonds and the Rent Reform Demonstration projects. She also leads the technical work on the Pay for Success Clean Energy Training, Cambridge Rise Up , and the Supporting Moves to Opportunity studies. She has over two decades of experience working in most phases of MDRC’s research, including program start-up, implementation analysis, survey design, and impact analysis. Azurdia holds a master’s degree in criminal justice.
