Brown works in MDRC’s K-12 Education policy area on large-scale randomized controlled trials. He works on all stages of research production, from project management and writing to qualitative research, recruitment, implementation, and evaluation. He currently supports the Next Generation California Partnerships Academies project, the Evaluation of Academic Language Interventions, and the Robert Wood Johnson Social-Emotional Learning Briefs project. As an external affairs liaison, Brown develops research dissemination strategies and communicates with internal and external stakeholders. He attended UCLA and holds a bachelor’s degree in African American studies with a minor in public affairs.
