Elizabeth Zachry Rutschow on the Evaluation of the Dana Center Mathematics Pathways

In this short video, MDRC’s Elizabeth Zachry Rutschow describes the findings from a Center for the Analysis of Postsecondary Readiness (CAPR) study of the Dana Center Mathematics Pathways (DCMP). Developed by the Charles A. Dana Center at the University of Texas at Austin, DCMP is a developmental education reform that aligns the content of students’ math courses with their career interests and helps them complete a college-level math course within one year of entering college. CAPR is a developmental education research center led by MDRC and the Community College Research Center and funded by the federal Institute of Education Sciences.
