Crystal Byndloss, a Senior Associate in K-12 Education at MDRC, has been named MDRC’s Director for Outreach, Diversity, and Inclusion. In this role, she manages MDRC’s relationships with undergraduate and graduate programs and professional associations with an eye toward recruiting staff to MDRC from traditionally underrepresented groups, oversees the Judith Gueron Minority Scholars Program (which sponsors undergraduate and graduate internships and doctoral fellowships at MDRC), and collaborates with MDRC’s longstanding Diversity Council and MDRC’s senior leadership and human resources department to increase internal understanding about diversity, equity, cultural competency, and social justice.
