MDRC Receives Grant to Deliver Transformation Supports to Postsecondary Institutions

MDRC is pleased to announce that it received a $1.5 million grant to expand its technical assistance capacity to put evidence to work in postsecondary settings around the country on a broader scale — leveraging existing MDRC projects like the College Promise Success Initiative, SUCCESS, and the Multiple Measures Assessment project, among others.

The grant, part of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s Intermediaries for Scale initiative, will allow us to make the research and technical assistance knowledge that MDRC’s postsecondary education policy area has built over almost 20 years more accessible as we expand our institutional change support efforts within our postsecondary institution networks. Engaging with networks across the country, we will help a select group of institutions identify pressing needs and strategies to address those needs, with the goal of guiding those institutions through a scaled, student-centered transformation planning process. These efforts will culminate in a strategic plan for MDRC to deliver transformation supports to a broad network of postsecondary institutions in coordination with other intermediary organizations.
