Javvadi is a research assistant in the Center for Applied Behavioral Sciences, where she contributes to various research projects and service programs through operational, research, and technical work. Javvadi supports her teams throughout all aspects of processes within her policy area. She specifically helps coordinate project work, engages with external partners, conducts technical assistance, and works with her team to improve programs through key behavioral insights. Before joining MDRC, Javvadi conducted qualitative and quantitative research about Austin transit, Asian American mental health needs, and climate change. She was also engaged in psychology intervention research. Praveena holds a bachelor’s degree in government from the Plan II Honor program at the University of Texas at Austin.
