MDRC is pleased to be hosting three students as paid interns this summer, as part of New York City’s Ladders for Leaders program:

	Phil Chen is currently majoring in management information systems at the University at Buffalo. At MDRC, he wants to gain experience and technical skills in the technology field.
	Juline Chowdhury is a rising junior studying political science at Hofstra University, where she serves as secretary of Hofstra’s Southeast Asian Club. Juline will be working with MDRC's human resources, legal, and library teams.
	Oscar Lia, a Queens native, is a rising sophomore at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science. This is Oscar’s first internship opportunity, and he will be working in MDRC’s IT department.

Ladders for Leaders is a nationally recognized program that offers outstanding high school and college students the opportunity to participate in paid professional summer internships with leading corporations, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies in New York City. Ladders for Leaders is a component of NYC’s Summer Youth Employment Program, the nation’s largest summer jobs program. It is administered by the Department of Youth and Community Development and supported by the Mayor’s Office for Youth Employment and the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City.
