Gordon Berlin and Rob Ivry Featured at Social Impact Conference, June 18-20

MDRC President Gordon Berlin and Senior Vice President Rob Ivry will be speakers at the Social Impact Exchange’s June 2013 Annual Conference on June 18-20 in New York City. The 2013 Conference on Scaling Impact is for foundation officers, philanthropists, corporate executives, trustees, and wealth managers and philanthropy advisors interested in learning about innovative methods to support high-impact nonprofits in education, youth development, poverty alleviation, health, and impact investing. 

Berlin will be a featured speaker at the plenary session, “Accelerating Impact,” on Thursday, June 20. That afternoon, Ivry will participate in a breakout session, “Building Evidence and Readiness for Scaling Impact,” cohosted by MDRC and Veris Consulting. 

The conference includes presentations from foundation CEOs and nonprofit leaders, as well as knowledge sessions and peer networking opportunities. Other conference speakers include Tonya Allen, incoming president and CEO of The Skillman Foundation; Jeff Bradach, managing partner and co-founder of the Bridgespan Group; Jim Canales, president and CEO of The James Irvine Foundation; Linda Gibbs, Deputy Mayor for the City of New York; and Rip Rapson, president and CEO of The Kresge Foundation.
