Youth Development, Criminal Justice, and Employment

Kyler is a technical research analyst in the Youth Development, Criminal Justice, and Employment policy area, where she primarily studies employment programs, training programs, and reentry services for people with involvement in the criminal legal system. She currently provides quantitative support for the Los Angeles County Reentry Integrated Services Project (LA CRISP) and the Procedural Justice-Informed Alternatives to Contempt (PJAC) demonstration. Before joining MDRC in 2022, Kyler earned a master’s degree in sociology from Princeton University and graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in justice studies.
