Youth Development, Criminal Justice, and Employment

Colin is a research assistant in MDRC’s Youth Development, Criminal Justice, and Employment policy area, where he works on an evaluation of interventions to improve employment outcomes in different contexts. He also assists MDRC’s K–12 policy area in the development of a logic model for an organization providing postsecondary education for students facing poverty and inequality. Before joining MDRC in 2022, Colín held a summer internship at the Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation in Boston. In addition, he was a project manager in negotiation and strategy for Dr. Bruno Verdini-Trejo as part of Harvard University and MIT’s collaboration in Negotiation Studies. Colín graduated from MIT with a bachelor’s degree in physics and a minor in urban planning studies.
