Salimi has worked as an implementation researcher and project manager in the K-12 policy area since joining MDRC in 2022. She primarily examines Career and Technical Education (CTE) interventions and their efficacy in promoting economic and social gains for marginalized populations. She is also the writer behind the CTE Center's Twitter and supports the development of the CTE blog and newsletter. Salimi holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Hamilton College. She is multilingual, speaking French and Urdu.
