Addressing Learning Loss with Personalized Instruction

In this five-minute video, Jean Grossman, a Senior Fellow at MDRC, introduces the Personalized Learning Initiative, which aims to determine how K-12 schools can provide high-dosage tutoring and other supplemental instruction to serve the largest number of students in a cost-effective manner to address learning loss resulting from the pandemic.

The University of Chicago Education Lab and MDRC are recruiting one to three school districts to participate in the Personalized Learning Initiative, Participating districts will receive technical assistance and funding up to $500 per student to expand tutoring.
