Using Behavioral Science to Improve Student Outreach

This webinar, Using Behavioral Science to Improve Student Outreach highlights tools and resources from behavioral science, a multidisciplinary approach to studying human behavior. The 60-minute webinar features seven practical behavioral techniques — the “SIMPLER” framework: Social influence, Implementation prompts, Make deadlines, Personalization, Loss aversion, Ease, and Reminders — which can be applied to help improve student outreach and communication. The webinar was hosted on July 26, 2018 by MDRC’s Center for Applied Behavioral Science (CABS).
